Fantastic Mr Fox was actually amazing (It is genius!!) and so much like i thought the film should be.
I suppose UP is quite funny, the little fat kid, but really sad in places too... like when she died almost cried...

It made me laugh like fuck when the old men were fighting tho.. hahaha they got stiff!!
THEY GOT OWNED BY THEY'RE BACKS!!!
Contradictory comments much?

The point is that anyone with half a brain doesn't compare all Pixar like-for-like, because the stories are all different. If people are short-sighted enough to like Pixar films only because they're Pixar animations, then they must have a pretty limited ability to appreciate each narrative and piece in it's own right. That's like suggesting each Spielberg movie is comparable in their appeal, without considering the theme, content or context.

UP has much appeal I think, and has taken a more emotional diversion from the happy-happy kids world/action adeventure they so often are.
