Yeah, the way it's being marketed is highly insensitive to the material it's dealing with. It obviously has parallels with the Afghanistan war so the way the trailers are glamorising war just seems really messed up.
But from what I've heard the general story is exactly how it's being marketed.

Really don't wanna play a "FUCK YEAH AMERICA" campaign.

Work for an hour or so, sleep, play MW2 all day.

Probably removed all civilians in the Airport, replaced the player's party with CIA agents and replaced police and guards with terrorists.
