Hello misanthropy my old friend. Sometimes it takes a jolt to bring you from your torpor and remind you that all people can be, essentially at their core a bit shit.

My flatmate from last year owes me a ton of money and is acting like she doesn't. Really, it astounds me how someone can just deny something like that, that you both know is true.

Something else that annoys me is when you're about to get change back, like at a coffee shop, and you hold out your hand to accept the change and instead the person puts it down on the counter, and it's like a whole bunch of coins, adn then you have to pick them up one by one to put them in your wallet. Would it have been so hard to just put the coins in my hand...

Today we were doing some Chemistry practical work in class with some pretty nasty chemicals, so we were kitted out in goggles and labcoats, but what the teacher didn't mention was the fact that some of the chemicals give off noxious fumes.
Now, goggles and labcoats really aren't much help in preventing you from breathing in substances so the least we could have done is have a window open or some extraction going, but no it was "too cold" outside, to quote one of my classmates, so we spent nearly 2 hours in a pretty horrible atmosphere.
So now I stink of chemicals, my eyes are still burning and watering a bit, and my asthma seems to have kicked in again after having nearly 4 years free of it. Bearing in mind this work was done 3 hours ago now.
Really annoyed at the lack of commonsense in some people nowadays, particularly if I'm gonna be feeling like this afterwards....

I try and try and try with my boyfriend's friends, and they are twats. I make such an effort because I want it to be ok for us to all go out together and such but I'm sick of being the only one. They used to be really fucking horrible to my face, now not so bad but not particularly nice.
One of them I have been making an extra effort for, because my boyfriend said that she really wanted us to be friends, so I thought go on then, and then she just acts like a twat. There gets to a certain point where I just can't be fucked, and I don't want to try, but I'm not that much of a shitty person to put my boyfriend in that situation, whereas they are. So I still end up trying. Ramble ramble.

tl;dr my boyfriend's friends are twats.

Pff, that's what makes chemistry fun... You haven't done science properly unless you end up inhaling toxic gases and spill 10 molar hydrochloric acid over the bench...

Annoying me right now is how fricking cold it is. I am sat in my room snuggled up in a blanket and heavy duty warm clothing and am still freezing my tootsies off

I really do hate it when people turn up to lecture workshops and tutor sessions withought ANY of the work they were supposed to. I can understand people forgetting a couple of bits here and there, or not getting it all done too well - but it keeps ending up that I bother to stick to the deadline, get my work taken in because it's there; then the 10 people who didn't bother to do anything just get told they have another couple of weeks to work on it!
I'm not saying the Uni should be super-strict on small peices missing deadlines, but sometimes it just drives me insane.
