10 years - weebls-stuff forums

Ten years of Weebl's Stuff today.

So guys, how did you first find out about W-S, these forums and all that jazz.

It worries me that I've been on these forums for almost half of my life now.

Found W-S 'cause my dad is a big geek and introduced me to weebl and bob, and b3ta ~2002, got involved on the CDH forums, then joined other members there on WSF. Promptly banned (twice) for being an obnoxious 12 year old but it's pretty much been smooth sailing since then, other than the bits where I'm still obnoxious, just a few years older and better at hiding it.

I saw an ad for butter or something to do with cows - Then someone sent me BADGER BADGER BADGER and my <3 for all things weebl is history.

I came here about 2005 when weebl stopped putting his animations on jolt.
After lurking for about a year I decided to join and just, like, be awesome.

I failed miserably and 1 permaban and two alternate accounts later I no longer have the urge to be the fucktard shitty axe-wound basket i was.

Crikey, that's a long time!

Thanks to this website and the combined love of silly cartoons I have made a few IRL friends that I wouldn't have met otherwise.

It's a shame that not many people frequent the forums as they used to, but that's social networking websites for you.

Holy smokes, ten years? Ten years ago I was twelve, which means I was at the start of secondary school. Such fun.

I'm pretty sure it was at school that I discovered Weebl's Stuff, actually, along with a friend. Magical Trevor was the first thing I saw, I remember that much. When I think about how long it's actually been since then, and considering I still visit the website at least once a week, this has, through sheer amount of use, got to be my favourite website of all time. OF ALL TIME.

I visit the forums far less; I'm a bit too busy nowadays and only log into these beautiful, frighteningly orange tubes when I super definitely have something to say. It's good to see a loyal few still keeping things ticking over. I kind of feel bad for not sticking around myself, but as I say, things to do!

I first saw Weebl and Bob on MTV2 I think back in 2000/1 (I think). I've been sending out links about Narwhals, Pork and Lemons to friends, ever since!
